Obverse description Central field displays the Silesian heraldic eagle upon a shield of arms, rendered in a bold, flat medieval style characteristic of early Piast-era coinage. The shield is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, itself surrounded by an outer border composed of rosettes evenly distributed around the circumference. The eagle design is executed with angular, stylized feathering typical of hammered Silesian issues of the late 13th and early 14th centuries.
