Reverse description The reverse bears a multi-line Arabic inscription in the central field recording the regnal year (or its last two digits in the case of KM#321.2), the mint name Islambol (Istanbul), and the accession year of Sultan Mustafa III (AH 1171). The legend is arranged in horizontal registers within a beaded border, following the standard Ottoman administrative format for coinage of this period. The mint epithet 'Bi Duriba Fi Islambol' ('Struck in Islambol') is clearly incorporated into the inscriptional field.
