Obverse description Central field dominated by the elaborately calligraphed tughra of Sultan Ahmed III, rendered in bold relief with characteristic loops and upward projecting shafts. Floral ornaments flank the upper portion of the tughra, with additional vegetal motifs visible in the field. Below the tughra, the mint name 'Kostantiniyye' (Constantinople) is inscribed in Arabic script, accompanied by the regnal year in abjad notation. The coin is encircled by a milled border, with an inner beaded or rope-pattern rim framing the design.
