| Beschrijving keerzijde | The entire reverse field is occupied by a multi-line Cyrillic titulary legend in bold relief, reading across five or six lines in the characteristic blocky script of late 17th-century Russian wire kopecks. The inscription names Tsar Peter Alexeyevich and proclaims his sovereignty over all Rus, partially visible around the irregular margins of the flan. The lettering is deeply struck and legible across most of the surface, with some peripheral truncation inherent to the wire-money striking technique. |
