| Obverse description | A mounted warrior depicted in right profile, galloping on horseback and brandishing a spear in the classic 'kopeck' or 'horseman' (всадник) tradition. The rider is shown in dynamic motion, with the spear angled forward above the horse. Cyrillic mint letters appear beneath the hooves of the horse, identifying the Moscow (МОС КВА) mint. The striking surface is irregular in shape, characteristic of wire-money (проволочная монета) production of the period. The overall design follows the established Muscovite coinage iconographic type introduced in the sixteenth century. |
