| Obverse description | Armored equestrian figure of the Tsar facing right, depicted in dynamic pose wielding a spear or lance, mounted on a horse in full stride. The design is struck on an irregular planchet formed from flattened silver wire, characteristic of Russian wire money (cheshуiki) of the period. The mintmark НГ (Novgorod) appears in the lower right field. The relief is bold but unevenly distributed across the flan due to the hand-hammered technique. |

| Reverse description | The reverse is fully occupied by a multi-line Cyrillic legend arranged across the field in four lines, reading the full titulature of Tsar Mikhail Fedorovich. The inscription, struck in bold raised Cyrillic characters, proclaims his titles as Tsar and Grand Prince of All Rus. The lettering fills the available flan space, with characters occasionally running to the irregular edge of the planchet. The hammered technique results in slight distortion of individual letters at the periphery, consistent with wire-money coinage of early 17th-century Muscovy. |
