Reverse description Reverse bears a multi-line Cyrillic legend filling the entire oval field, disposed across several horizontal registers in the compact, abbreviated style typical of Muscovite wire kopecks of the early seventeenth century. The inscription names the issuing sovereign in the traditional formulaic titulature. The lettering is boldly struck but shows the characteristic uneven impression and partial legend truncation inherent to the hammered wire coinage technique. No additional decorative elements or borders are present, the irregular flan edge forming the natural boundary of the die impression.
