| Obverse description | Armored equestrian figure of the tsar facing right, depicted on horseback in the traditional Muscovite wire money style. The rider carries a lance or spear held diagonally across the body, with the horse in a striding pose. The design is rendered in low relief on an irregularly shaped flan typical of wire kopecks, with the image occupying the full field. The crude but characteristic hammered workmanship reflects standard mid-17th century Moscow Mint production. |
