| Obverse description | Equestrian effigy of the Tsar depicted as an armoured horseman, shown in right profile at a gallop, lance couched beneath his arm in the manner of Saint George. Cyrillic mintmark letters К and Ч appear to the left and right of the rider, with МОС and КВА distributed around the field beneath the horse's hooves, denoting the Moscow mint. The design is characteristic of the Russian wire money (chekhi) tradition, struck on a thin, irregularly shaped silver flan with bold, slightly crude relief. |

| Reverse description | Multi-line Cyrillic inscription filling the entire field of the flan, presenting the full royal titulature of Tsar Mikhail Fyodorovich. The legend reads ЦАРЬ И ВЕЛИКИЙ КНЯЗЬ МИХАИЛ ФЕДОРОВИЧ ВСЕЯ РУСИ, meaning 'Tsar and Grand Prince Mikhail Fyodorovich of All Rus'. The text is arranged in abbreviated, compressed lines across the irregularly shaped wire-money flan, consistent with hammered coinage of the early Romanov period. Individual letters are sometimes ligatured or abbreviated due to the small flan size. |
