Reverse description The reverse bears a multi-line Cyrillic legend filling the entire field, arranged in horizontal lines across the flan in the customary format of Russian wire kopecks of this period. The inscription reads ЦАРЬ И ВЕЛИКИЙ КНЯЗЬ ДМИТРИЙ ИВАНОВИЧ ВСЕЯ РУСИ, proclaiming the titles of the issuing sovereign. The lettering is rendered in the archaic Muscovite Cyrillic script, compressed and adapted to the small, irregular oval flan, with individual letters sometimes partially off-flan due to the nature of wire-money striking technique.
