| Reverse description | Reverse bears a multi-line Cyrillic inscription filling the entire field of the irregular flan, reading the full royal titulature of Tsar Alexey Mikhailovich. The legend is arranged in four to five abbreviated lines, rendered in the archaic Muscovite script style typical of mid-17th century wire kopecks. The lettering is deeply and unevenly struck due to the hammered technique and the irregular shape of the planchet. No border or decorative elements are present, as is standard for Russian chekha (wire money) of this era. |
