| Obverse description | Plain octagonal iron flan with a raised circular field at centre, enclosed by a dotted border. Within the circle, the two-line legend STADT / KONITZ appears in bold raised capital letters across the field. Small floral rosette ornaments punctuate the dotted border at the top and bottom, adding a modest decorative element to the otherwise austere design. The flat rim follows the eight-sided outline of the planchet. Surface texture is characteristically rough, consistent with wartime iron coinage. |
