| 正面描述 | Central field dominated by a stylised wheel or rosette motif executed in Kufic calligraphic elements, comprising a raised central pellet encircled by a plain annular ring, from which radiate multiple foliate or leaf-shaped projections terminating in globular finials, the whole interpreted as an abstract rendering of the Shahada in highly decorative Kufic script. The design is enclosed within a plain inner circle and surrounded by a border of raised beads along the outer periphery. The flan is irregular and slightly cupped, characteristic of hammered Fatimid fractional coinage of the Sicilian mint. |

| 背面描述 | Central field features the same characteristic stylised wheel or rosette motif as the obverse, with a raised central pellet enclosed by a concentric annular ring and radiating foliate projections in ornamental Kufic script, conveying the name and title of the Fatimid caliph Al-Aziz Billah. The design is contained within a plain raised inner circle and bordered by a row of raised beads at the periphery. The flan is irregular in outline with slight flan flaws, consistent with hammered production at the Siqilliya mint during the late tenth century. |
