Obverse description Crudely hammered copper flan displaying Arabic-script legend arranged in two horizontal lines across the field, divided by a raised horizontal bar. A distinctive lozenge-shaped ornamental device with an interior cross pattern is positioned centrally, flanked by partial inscription elements. The upper field features bold Arabic characters above the dividing line, while the lower field carries additional legend fragments; the entire design is characteristic of the informal die-cutting traditions of the Kashmir Sultanate workshops. The irregular flan edge and uneven strike are typical of hammered coinage of this period.
