Reverse description The reverse displays the distinctive Ujjain symbol — a cruciform device with four circles or spirals at the cardinal points — prominently placed in the central field, a hallmark motif of Avanti regional coinage. To the upper left, a human or animal figure, possibly an elephant or bull, is depicted in a simplified, punch-marked style. Additional spiral and geometric punch marks fill the surrounding field. The irregular copper flan shows characteristic surface porosity and patination consistent with ancient burial and age.
