正面描述 Central field dominated by a large Srivatsa symbol positioned above a square tank containing two fish in the interior. The Srivatsa is flanked on each side by a dotted circle set between two taurine symbols, forming a symmetrical punched composition. The design elements are characteristic of the punch-marked coinage tradition of the Saurashtra region, applied with multiple individual punches to the flat silver flan. The surface shows the typical irregular texture and wear associated with ancient Indian punch-marked issues.

The plain surface retains the irregular, flattened texture characteristic of ancient Indian punch-marked silver flans, with no intentional design elements present.

附加信息

The Saurashtra janapada occupied the peninsula now known as Kathiawar in Gujarat, a region whose deep-water harbors made it one of the busiest maritime trade corridors on the subcontinent. These fractional silver pieces circulated in an economy already oriented toward the Arabian Sea trade routes long before the Satavahanas or Western Kshatrapas consolidated power in the region. Haaff's classification remains the primary organizing framework for these issues, as no royal name or regnal sequence has been firmly attached to the Saurashtra series.
