| Description du revers | Crude hammered field bearing the Nagari legend 'Sri Hamirah' (श्री हमिरः), a Nagari adaptation of the Arabic honorific 'Amir', reflecting the syncretistic numismatic style adopted by Ghurid rulers for coins circulating in the Indian subcontinent. The reverse flan is irregular and somewhat worn, with the inscription occupying the central field in a rough, abbreviated Nagari script. The overall fabric is consistent with the debased leaded copper jitals produced at the Budaon mint during the late 12th to early 13th century. |
