| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central field bears a multi-line Arabic inscription in Kufic-influenced script, recording the name and titles of the Khwarazmshah 'Ala al-Din Muhammad. The legend is arranged in two or three horizontal lines across the field, with the mint name Kurraman incorporated within or below the main inscription. The surface is heavily worn and encrusted, with letters partially visible in relief against the flat billon flan. The coin's irregular outline and variable strike are characteristic of the hammered production technique employed at provincial Khwarazmian mints. |
