Reverse description Central field bearing a multi-line Arabic religious inscription arranged in horizontal registers, declaring the shahada and the name of the Abbasid caliph al-Nasir li-Din Allah, rendered in a bold angular script characteristic of Khwarazmian jitals of the early 13th century. The lettering fills the field with minimal negative space, creating a dense epigraphic composition. The entire design is enclosed within a dotted circular border, typical of hammered billon issues from the eastern Islamic world. Slight flan irregularity and die wear are visible at the periphery.
