Obverse description Central field features a stylized recumbent bull or animal device within a plain inner circle, rendered in a bold, schematic style characteristic of Central Asian jitals. Surrounding the central motif is a circular border enclosing an Arabic legend occupying the outer annulus. The overall design is typical of the debased billon coinage of the Ghurid and Khwarazmian tradition, with irregular flan edges and somewhat flat strike common to hammered issues of this period.
