Obverse description Densely struck Arabic legend filling the field across multiple lines, rendered in the angular Kufic script characteristic of early 13th-century Central Asian coinage. The Shahada inscription occupies the central field in a compact, partially overlapping arrangement typical of small-denomination hammered jitals. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, with weakness at the margins consistent with hand-striking. No border or decorative framing elements are present, the legend extending nearly to the coin's edge.
