| Reverse description | The reverse field displays a multi-line Arabic inscription arranged horizontally across the flan, conveying the Shahada or a portion of the ruler's subsidiary titles and mint formula, consistent with standard Khwarazmian jital typology as catalogued under Album A1729. The legends are set within a plain linear inner border, with a marginal inscription partially visible along the periphery. Die wear and the irregular flan result in portions of the legend being weakly struck or off-flan. The style and depth of relief are consistent with a hammered billon issue of the early 7th century AH. |
