| Obverse description | The gilt outer ring features eighteen five-pointed stars. The silver-toned inner field displays four maritime symbols in relief at the cardinal points: a seagull at 12 o'clock, a sailboat at 3 o'clock, a ship's wheel at 6 o'clock, and an anchor at 9 o'clock. At center, a colorized shield bearing the Gruissan coat of arms — a red cross on a white field — with the legend GRUISSAN inscribed across the top of the shield. |
