| 正面描述 | The host coin is a Landgraviate of Upper Alsace thaler displaying a large crowned and quartered Habsburg arms, incorporating the arms of Austria, Burgundy, Alsace, and associated territories, within an ornamental cartouche. The encircling Latin legend reads PHIRT·COM·ALSA·LAND·DV·BV (Philipp, Count of Alsace, Landgrave, Duke of Burgundy), separated by a denticulated inner border and an outer beaded rim. Applied to the field are two Russian countermarks of 1655, consisting of an oval cartouche bearing the date and a rectangular cartouche depicting a mounted horseman (the Muscovite cavalryman) brandishing a spear, the characteristic stamps used under Tsar Alexis Mikhailovich to validate foreign thalers as Jefimok roubles for domestic circulation. |

| 背面描述 | The reverse of the host Upper Alsace thaler presents a crowned imperial double-headed eagle displayed, with wings spread and a shield on its breast, surrounded by a Latin legend continuing the titulature of the Landgrave. A denticulated inner border and outer beaded rim frame the design, consistent with the standard Habsburg thaler coinage of the period. The reverse bears no additional Russian countermarks, as the Jefimok stamps were applied exclusively to the obverse field. |
