Reverse description The reverse features a deeply recessed central field containing a replica of the Roman 'Judaea Capta' sestertius of Vespasian, depicting a palm tree flanked by a standing Roman emperor with spear and a seated mourning female captive, with the legend IVDAEA CAPTA and the senatorial mint mark S.C. below. The broad flat border is decorated with a chain motif symbolizing captivity, and carries a Hebrew inscription along the upper rim and an English legend along the lower rim.
