| Vorderseitenbeschreibung | Central vignette presents a sculpture of an ibex atop the Masse peak alongside the bell tower of the Espace Maurice Romanet, with snow-capped mountain panoramas of the Tarentaise valley in the background. The note carries the faulty inscription "LES MENUIERES" in place of the correct "LES MENUIRES". Series prefix "A1_FR" appears at lower right. |

Les Menuires is a purpose-built ski resort in the Belleville valley of the Trois Vallées, developed almost entirely in the 1960s as functional mass-market accommodation rather than a traditional Alpine village. The Infiny Cash scheme is a local commercial scrip — a closed-loop currency accepted by participating businesses within the resort — increasingly common among French ski stations as a way to keep tourist spending circulating inside the local economy rather than leaking to online retailers or outside vendors.
The EURion constellation inclusion is notable: it triggers photocopier and image-editing software to refuse reproduction, a protection layer more typically associated with sovereign banknotes. Its presence here reflects French regulations that extend certain anti-counterfeiting obligations to privately issued monetary instruments.
