Reverse description The reverse features a cast bust of Ethiopian athlete Abebe Bikila in three-quarter view, occupying the central field in moderate relief. The legend ABEBE BIKILA arcs along the upper rim, while the inscription 1960 · ROMA · ATLETISMO appears along the lower and right rim. The silver plating is largely worn away on this side, revealing the base metal beneath.
