Cibyra, a city in the Pisidian-Lycian borderlands, was one of the few provincial mints producing oversized bronze at this denomination during Gordian III's reign. The ΖΙϹ in the legend — a numeral denoting the value as seven assaria, not six, despite the hexassarion classification used in modern catalogs — has generated ongoing taxonomic debate among RPC contributors.
