| Obverse description | Bearded male head in right profile, identified as Hephaistos, wearing a pilos helmet. The facial features are rendered in a robust archaic-to-early Classical Sicilian style, with well-defined beard and curling hair visible beneath the conical cap. The portrait fills the flan with little remaining field, consistent with the small module of this fractional bronze issue. |
