Reverse description Two olive leaves arranged diagonally across the field, each rendered with finely engraved central ribs and accompanied by an olive berry, together forming a stylized olive-sprig motif. The Greek letters rho (P) and eta (H), representing the abbreviation of RHEGION, are placed flanking the central olive berry between the two leaves, one letter to either side. The composition is compact and naturalistic, characteristic of the civic bronze coinage of Rhegion during the late fifth century BC.
