Reverse description A stylized Celtic horseman or rider figure appears to the left, depicted in a highly abstracted La Tène manner with elongated limbs and schematic torso. To the right dominates a large, coiled or S-curved serpentine or zoomorphic creature rendered with pronounced ribbed or segmented body detail, typical of the Boian artistic vocabulary. An inscription in degraded Celtic characters appears in the lower portion of the field, below the principal devices, within a partial linear frame. The entire composition is enclosed by a beaded border. The overall design reflects the late Celtic abstraction derived from earlier Macedonian prototype coinage.
