The surrounding legend in Latin gives his name and title with his tenure dates in Roman numerals.

Beschrijving keerzijde	Detailed relief depiction of the new choir of Cologne Cathedral in Gothic style, with figures of clergy gathered before the entrance in a consecration scene. The surrounding Latin legend records the dedication date of 27 September 1322, with the fineness mark '999' inscribed in the lower exergue.
