Obverse description Youthful head of Herakles in right profile, clad in the scalp of the Nemean lion, with the open jaws and mane rendered in fine relief draped over the cranium and neck. The facial features are finely modelled in the Classical Macedonian style, with a pronounced brow, almond-shaped eye, and slightly parted lips. A beaded border encircles the flan.
