| Obverse description | Laureate head of Apollo facing right, rendered in fine archaic-to-classical Greek style with long wavy locks cascading behind the neck. The laureate wreath is depicted with detailed olive leaves encircling the youthful, idealized effigy. The facial features are finely modeled with a strong profile, almond-shaped eye, and slightly parted lips characteristic of late classical Troadic coinage. The hair is arranged in a series of undulating curls framing the face and falling in ringlets along the neck. The design fills the flan with confident, high-relief engraving. |
