Hemiobol - Tiberius

Termessus Minor, a Pisidian community distinct from the better-known Termessus Major near Perge, exercised an unusual degree of civic autonomy under the early Principate. The city's right to strike bronze under Tiberius reflects a local arrangement rather than any imperial initiative — Rome showed little interest in standardizing small-denomination bronze across Asia Minor, leaving civic mints to fill the gap as they saw fit. Kosmetatou's classification of this type as series XI places it within a tightly sequenced municipal output whose chronology within the reign remains debated.
