| Descrizione del dritto | Celticised head facing right, rendered in a highly abstracted La Tène artistic style. The facial features are schematically indicated, with a prominent curved nose and a broad, rounded cheek occupying much of the flan. The hair or headdress is suggested by bold, swirling relief elements above the crown of the head, with a globular ornament visible at the upper right. The execution is characteristic of late Celtic coinage from the Pannonian region, with strong plastic modeling despite the small module. |
