Obverse description Forepart of a goat advancing to right, the head turned back to the left in a characteristic retrograde pose, rendered in a compact, archaic style typical of minor Sindian coinage. The musculature of the haunches and forelegs is summarily but effectively modeled in low relief. The irregular flan, characteristic of hand-struck issues of this region and period, fills the available field without a formal border.
