| Obverse description | Diademed and draped bust of Antiochos VIII Grypos facing right, the hair rendered in flowing locks characteristic of the late Seleucid royal portrait style. The flan is irregular and the surface heavily patinated with a green-brown encrustation consistent with prolonged burial, partially obscuring the finer details of the effigy. A dotted border is visible along portions of the rim. The portrait reflects the Hellenistic tradition of idealized royal imagery combined with individual dynastic features. |

| Reverse description | A frontal view of a distyle temple or altar facade, rendered with a pronounced architectural cornice and flanking pillars; a radiate star or torch appears prominently above the structure at the apex, serving as a divine symbol associated with the epithet Epiphanes. The Greek royal legend is disposed in two vertical columns flanking the central architectural motif. The field is otherwise plain, and the coin's irregular flan results in partial legend loss at the edges. |
