Obverse description Forepart of a goat advancing to the right, rendered in a compact archaic style typical of late fifth-century BC Carian coinage. The animal's muscular body and curved horns are boldly modeled in relief, filling much of the small flan. The die-cutting, though diminutive in scale, displays confident, schematic engraving characteristic of local Carian workshop production.
