Obverse description Four crescents arranged back-to-back in a cruciform pattern, their open ends facing outward, dividing the field into four quadrants. A pellet is placed within each quadrant formed by the crescents, with a fifth pellet at the center where the four crescents meet. The design is executed in a schematic, archaic style characteristic of early Lucanian coinage, without inscription or border.
