| Obverse description | Archaic Wappenmünzen-type design featuring a four-spoked wheel rendered in low relief at the centre of the flan, with each spoke radiating outward toward the irregular edge of the coin. The wheel motif, characteristic of the early pre-owl Athenian coinage series, occupies the majority of the flat field. No legend or inscription is present. The surface shows the typical granular texture resulting from archaic hammered production. |

| Reverse description | Quadripartite incuse square punch divided into four recessed compartments by two intersecting raised ridges forming a cross, characteristic of early archaic Greek coinage technique. The incuse impression is deeply struck and roughly centred on the irregular flan, with each of the four sunken quadrants displaying an uneven, granular surface. No inscription or subsidiary device is present. This reverse type is consistent with the earliest phase of Athenian Wappenmünzen production. |
