Reverse description An eight-petalled rosette with a raised central boss set within a shallow incuse square, the petals rendered as rounded lobes radiating symmetrically from the centre. The incuse square border is clearly defined, a hallmark of early archaic Greek coinage produced in Asia Minor. The design is boldly struck and occupies the majority of the incuse field. No legend or inscription is present.
