| Obverse description | Forepart of a horse prancing to right, rendered in high relief with fine engraving detail along the mane, which is depicted with short incised striations. The forelegs are extended forward in a dynamic pose characteristic of Aeolian coinage of the fourth century BC. The flan is irregular, as typical of hammered small silver issues of this period. |
