Obverse description A bold, deeply struck Greek letter Κ (kappa) dominates the flat field of this tiny hammered silver coin, serving as the civic abbreviation for the issuing polis of Cranii. The letter is rendered in a broad, archaic lapidary style with splayed strokes, centrally positioned and filling nearly the entire flan. The surrounding field is plain and unadorned, with no border or additional devices. The irregular flan, characteristic of small Elean fractional coinage of the fourth century BC, shows natural flow lines from the hammering process.

Reverse description A large Greek letter Η (eta), serving as a numeral denoting the denomination or as an abbreviation, is prominently displayed at centre, with a single pellet positioned below its crossbar as a control mark or denominational indicator. The entire design is set within a shallow circular incuse square, a hallmark of early Greek fractional silver coinage. The letters are rendered in a sturdy, archaic style consistent with fourth-century BC Elean workshop practice. The incuse border is clearly defined, contrasting with the raised letterform within.
