The abbreviated ethnic legend ΑΚΓΑ appears in the left field in Greek characters. The composition fills the flan with a strong, confident artistic style typical of the Akragantine mint. |

In the lower exergual area, a crayfish or prawn is depicted in profile to the left, flanked by two pellets representing the six units of the hemilitron denomination. The reverse design is a hallmark type of Akragantine bronze coinage of this period. |
