Obverse description Eagle standing to right in the field, rendered with fine detail in the feathering of the wings and body. The bird is depicted perched, with head turned slightly forward and talons gripping the ground plane. An olive spray rises behind the eagle to the upper left, its leaves clearly delineated. The composition fills the flan, typical of early Sicilian bronze coinage, with no encircling legend. The style reflects the bold, naturalistic engraving characteristic of fifth-century BC Sicilian mint production.
