Reverse description Aphrodite seated left on a diphros (backless stool), her figure rendered in three-quarter view with drapery falling about her lower body. She extends her right hand to hold a dove, the bird clearly depicted perched in her grasp. The composition fills the flan without inscription, in keeping with the aniconic epigraphic tradition of this Sicilian mint issue.
