| Obverse description | Forepart of a winged stag in left profile, rendered in archaic Greek style with fine detail to the wing feathers and musculature. Beneath the stag, a tunny fish faces left, serving as the characteristic civic badge of Kyzikos. Both devices are set within the plain field of the flan without border or legend, consistent with early Kyzikene coinage practice. |
