Obverse description Forepart of a winged stag in left profile, rendered in archaic Greek style with fine detail to the wing feathers and musculature. Beneath the stag, a tunny fish faces left, serving as the characteristic civic badge of Kyzikos. Both devices are set within the plain field of the flan without border or legend, consistent with early Kyzikene coinage practice.

Reverse description Quadripartite incuse square divided into four recessed compartments of roughly equal size, formed by two intersecting raised ridges. The incuse pattern is boldly struck with irregular edges characteristic of hand-hammered archaic coinage. The field within each quadrant is deeply sunken and shows no additional devices or inscriptions.
