Reverse description A quadripartite incuse square dominates the reverse, divided into four recessed triangular sections by two diagonal grooves intersecting at the center, creating a windmill or mill-sail pattern within the square punch. The incuse is deeply impressed and irregular in outline, consistent with early archaic Greek hammered coinage technique. The surrounding field is plain and unconsidered, reflecting the primitive punch technology of the period circa 600–550 BC.
