Descrizione del dritto	Laureate head of Zeus facing left, rendered in vigorous Hellenistic style with a full, flowing beard and deeply modeled facial features. The hair is elaborately coiffed with thick locks falling behind the neck. The magistrate's name ΤΟΛΜΑΙΟΣ appears in the field to the right of the portrait, serving as a quasi-legend identifying the issuing authority.

Descrizione del rovescio	The hero Phemios stands to the left in a frontal pose with head turned to the right, depicted nude save for a belt from which a short sword in its scabbard is suspended, and a chlamys draped over his shoulders and left arm. He draws back his right arm to hurl a javelin, while his left hand holds his petasos raised as a makeshift shield. The ethnic legend ΑΙΝΙΑΝΩΝ appears in the field, with a monogram of ΑΓ to the right, identifying the issuing people of the Ainianes.
